A traditional Korean pressed cookie, dasik is made using grains, beans, chestnuts, and sesame seeds, among other ingredients, mixed with honey. These are then pressed into moulds engraved with designs of birds, fish, or Korean words, all of which symbolise wishes for good luck, long life, happiness, or health.
