How to travel to Italy without travelling to Italy 🇮🇹 At Cafe by Foodhall, of course! Since you can't travel just yet, let your tastebuds do it for you, with these iconic dishes from Italy's popular regions. 1st stop - Piedmont When cocoa was in short supply following World War II, Nutella was created in Alba, Piedmont, using an abundance of hazelnuts available in the region, along with a little cocoa. We're paying homage to this region and ingredient with our Piedmont Berry Nutella Toast, served with drizzles of truffle honey. 2nd stop - Rome This popular dish is said to have originated in the Roman Empire. With time, this simple soup began to be made with any available ingredients – sometimes even leftovers. Come spoon up some hot, comforting Roman minestrone at our cafe. 3rd stop - Sicily It is believed that the eggplant was first introduced to Italy through Sicily, where the eggplant parmigiana is a local favourite. We gave this Sicilian staple a twist, with our moreish Eggplant Parmigiana Panino. Stop by the Cafe by Foodhall today for the true taste of Italy or call 8095031111 to order directly.
