Want to drink #kahwa like a Kashmiri? The classic green tea blend by #THTByFoodhall with spicy notes of cinnamon and cardamom along with the sweetness of #Kashmiri roses and #saffron create an immunity boosting tea perfect for the monsoon. It’s our #ComfortInACup. Traditionally poured from a samovar, the reddish #gold saffron hued kahwa is usually served to guests or as a part of a celebration. To brew this tea at home, you will need: • Kashmiri Kahwa Tea Leaves - 2.5g • Water - 200-250ml (cold, filtered) • Temperature - 85 degrees celsius • Brew time - 2-3 minutes Method: 1. Heat water in a saucepan 2. Add the Kashmiri Kahwa tea leaves and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes 3. Turn off the heat and let it steep for another minute 4. Strain the tea in shallow cups. Add almond slivers and honey, if you like your kahwa slightly sweet 5. Serve it hot with a side of almond biscottis

The quintessential cool weather cocktail, a #HotToddy can be as simple or complex as you’d like. Here’s a classic recipe with an #Indian twist: What you need: • Water – ¾ cup • Whiskey – 20 ml • Honey – 2 tsp • Lime juice – 1 tsp • Cinnamon – 1 stick • Star anise – 1 • A pinch of saffron Method: 1. Heat the water until simmering, add the whole spices and allow to steep for 1 minute. Pour into a mug and add the saffron. 2.
