This summer, keep your cool with Peruvian chicha morada made with beautiful purple corn. In a large pot, simmer down 2 cups of purple corn, 2 cinnamon sticks and 4 cloves in 4½ cups of water. Strain this mixture and add ¾ cup lemon juice, a cup of brown sugar and refrigerate until cool. Just before serving, add a few chopped pineapples and pour over crushed ice.
