Traditionally poured from a samovar, the reddish #gold saffron hued kahwa is usually served to guests or as a part of a celebration.
To brew this tea at home, you will need:
• Kashmiri Kahwa Tea Leaves - 2.5g
• Water - 200-250ml (cold, filtered)
• Temperature - 85 degrees celsius
• Brew time - 2-3 minutes
Method:
1. Heat water in a saucepan
2. Add the Kashmiri Kahwa tea leaves and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes
3. Turn off the heat and let it steep for another minute
4. Strain the tea in shallow cups. Add almond slivers and honey, if you like your kahwa slightly sweet
5. Serve it hot with a side of almond biscottis
